Food Bloggers getting acknowledged in Patna
In the last couple of years, there has been a new unconventional career that the youth in Patna have started pursuing. Till recently, it was not actually looked upon as a “career option”, rather it was just a hobby. The reason was that earlier people were spending money from their own pocket to buy the food, eat it and then review it for others. But, things are changing. Finally!!
Now, restaurants are acknowledging the power of food bloggers and social media influencers. They are now invited to try out the new chef, events, decor, and new menu items by popular restaurants in the city. Even, the public follows these bloggers to know about the latest eateries in the town.
In the past few months, Patna Diaries was a part of some such events and we are very happy with this change in the attitude of the public. Let me tell you about the places we covered in recent times.
Pukhtaan – The Royal Taste of India
Pukhtaan celebrated Women’s Day in their own desi style on 8th March 2019. They invited ladies to a golgappa challenge. Some of the participants were well-known faces that included Priya Nath and Sonam from Patna Shots and our very own Anjali from Life in a Bag series. Apart from the participants they also invited food bloggers to witness the event and cover it. The emerging food bloggers from the town, “Love Story Of Fork And Knife” were also there.
LBW – Lounge Before Wicket
LBW invited the food bloggers to taste the newly created fusion menu by their Chef Nishant Choubey. Fusion dishes like Kathal Tacos, Biryani Fried Rice With Chilli Paneer and Rasmalai Mousse was tasted and reviewed by Umar Aziz and Aqdas Nawaz from LSOFAK. Alpesh Gaurav, the down to earth influencer who showcases home cooked food on his Instagram profile was also there.
Cafe Dot
Cafe Dot is one of the favorite joints for bloggers to hang out. A lot of bloggers/vloggers have covered Cafe Dot as a pioneer in cafe culture in Patna. Recently, Medha Ujjain, a food blogger who loves good food for sure, was invited to Cafe Dot. She loved the Boneless chilly chicken, Mint Mojito, and Strawberry shake served to her.
This acknowledgment to bloggers gives the normal public an option to know the exact review of items along with how they look on their Instagram profile or YouTube channel.
